I BELIEVE THAT THE DIVINE PURPOSE MANIFESTS ITSELF IN THE MOMENT OF
INSPIRED CREATION WHICH FOR ME HAPPENS IN THE ACT OF CREATING.
It is no coincidence that Monique VENDETTI has a lifelong passion for the arts and design. Born and raised in Montreal, Canada with her father an artist in oil painting, and her mother a professional ballet dancer. The arts are in Monique blood.
Monique graduated from Sheridan College in 1977 with a degree in fashion design and textiles. Monique has expressed her creativity through several mediums. In the 1980's she gained recognition for her exclusive alternative-to-fur fashion collections which included hand made knit sweaters, coats, and accessories. Monique enjoyed success as an entrepreneur in Carmel, California where she owned a high fashion boutique. Photos below show some of her creations, which were sold across the USA in Saks Fifth Ave, Nordstrom, I- Magnin, Lord & Taylor along with high end boutiques.
Monique also worked in real estate. Having her mortgage broker license in California, she worked in the mortgage lending business and real estate sales for years. Monique then turned her focus and creative talents towards home design and painting. Her background in real estate and fashion design allows her to bring a heightened sense of design, texture and color to her home styling /interior design and paintings.
Monique is enjoying this creative outlet and is gaining support from her community.
